"TAMAR SWING LOCK"

This has been newly designed in order to hold a gate open whilst driving vehicles, etc, through without having the tiresome need to find something to prop against the gate to hold it open. Quite a problem if there is nothing suitable near by and always adds time and effort which can be very irritating especially when in a hurry!

The new Tamar “Swing Lock” is now available to hold farm gates open whilst passing through.

This new gate lock has been designed by working closely with farmers aiming to reduce time and stress when passing through farm gates. Often, gates have to be held open usually by whatever happens to be at hand from ties to stones!

Unlock the gate in the usual manner but then just give it a gentle push and as the gate swings open, it will drop into the Swing Lock channel which will hold it in the open position without any further assistance. The gate can be closed in the usual manner.

Installation is quick and easy…..Simply lift the gate off it’s hangers, slide the “Swing Lock” down over gate hanger pin, then insert locking bolt and tighten. There are various open locking positions up to about 115 degrees to suit your requirements. Gates can be opened clockwise or anti- clockwise.

Re-hang the gate and job done!

An extra hexagon sleeve and back nut are supplied with each kit to ensure the gate locks firmly into the Swing Lock slot.
